I am a certified yoga teacher working in the Iyengar style. I manage the Shelburne Falls Yoga studio and am available for private sessions in Western Massachusetts.

Challenge your body, focus your mind, shed stress. Stretch and tone your muscles, bring balance into your life. Find your edge and stay with it!

My teaching schedule is as follows:

8:30-10 am "Gentle Yoga" Shelburne Falls Yoga
6-7:30 pm "Fundamentals of Yoga" Shelburne Falls Yoga
8:30-10 am "Vinyasa Yoga" Shelburne Falls Yoga
6:30-8:30 pm "Iyengar Yoga -- All Levels" Green River Yoga
6-7:30 pm "Iyengar-based Yoga" (Intermediate) Shelburne Falls Yoga
8:30-10 am "Gentle Yoga" Shelburne Falls Yoga

Gentle Yoga (Monday): lots of on-the-floor stretching, breath work, and a few standing poses to give a mostly gentle start to the week.

Fundamentals of Yoga: appropriate for both beginners and experienced practitioners alike; focuses on the basic poses of yoga.

Vinyasa: a vigorous class of poses which flow from one to the next, linked by the breath. I give individual adjustments throughout the class to each participant.

Iyengar Yoga -- All Levels: a multilevel class appropriate for any level of practitioner. Seasoned yogis can work on more advanced poses or more deeply in more standard ones, while beginners learn the basics.

Iyengar-based Yoga (Intermediate): geared toward experienced practitioners with a more advanced practice. More demanding poses, more advanced pranayama, more detailed instruction.

Gentle Yoga (Fridays): the gentlest of all. More time on the floor with gentle stretches, less time on your feet. A nice way to round out your week, and start your weekend relaxed.
