Bio

Peoria, Illinois is where I now "hang my hat". I was born and raised in the Pittsburgh, Pa area, lived in the Chicago area from the age of 14 -30,
then moved south to Arkansas and Tennessee.

My life is full with 4 grown daughters and 10 beautiful grandchildren.

My nursing carrer began at the age of 28 as a CNA in a nursing home. I entered LPN school at the age of 32, graduated as an RN at age 40, then erned my BSN at age 53.

Shortly after receiving my BSN I was involved in an automobile accident which left me unable to work full time. I receive disability, and become bored easily, so look for ways to use my talents to help others while helping suplement my income.

I love animals and have a Boxer, enjoy gardening, reading, belong to two red hat lady groups, travel when able, and just life.

Work Experience:

Worked primarily in the health care field in many positions. I was a nurse who got bored easily, so moved within a major hospital system several times. I did everything from working in ICU, a physicans office, an acute rehabilitation hospital, Director of Nursing for a large nursing home, and
a Psychiatric Nurse.

I also have a certificate in Parish Nursing and started a succesful program in a Nashville, Tn. church.

including raising an adopted child
