Bio
I'm a bestselling author of ten books, most recently Poetry as Spiritual Practice: Reading, Writing, and Using Poetry in Your Daily Rituals, Aspirations, and Intentions (Free Press/Simon & Schuster, 2008). www.robertmcdowell.net

I'm also the former founding publisher and editor of Story Line Press, Inc. In that capacity, I selected, edited, and guided into publication 250 books. My authors included 7 Pulitzer Prize winners and a Nobel Laureate.

I'm currently working on a book on spiritual partnering, and a spiritual mystery novel.

I freelance as a copy editor, proofreader, and ghostwriter, and I do some development work for non-profits. I also mentor and coach individuals, businesses, and organizations in deepening spiritual practice and productivity through poetry and journaling.
