I have been around boats my entire life and enjoy sharing stories and experiences with other mariners who are interested in becoming professionaly licensed.

Description
I hold US Coast Guard approvals for sixteen different training courses ranging from Operator of Uninspected Passenger Vessel (OUPV) to Master 25 through 100 gross tons, including Mate of Towing and Master of Fishing Vessels. Many of the course approvals are for training courses in support of these license, such as Radar Observer Training and Celestial Navigation.
Relevant Education / Credentials
I have degrees in Maritime Science and Liberal Arts and have over 15 years experience teaching USCG approved courses at the community college level. I am also hold a USCG license as Master 500 ton Oceans / Mate 1600 tons with over thirty years commercial sailing experience as Master and Mate.
