Mike McCarthy originally hailed from the bustling North Los Angeles area and more specifically, Burbank which is nestled in the east San Fernando Valley.
Mike and his family moved to Silicon Valley in 1975 where he spent the next five years working in financial lending for Transamerica Corporation. In late 1979 Mike jumped headlong into the technology arena with his first technology management position as head of Computer Operations for ADP Dealer Services in Santa Clara, California while working on his BS degree in Information Management.
Throughout his career Mike became well-rounded in all areas of technology including application programming, relational database design and support, hardware support, data communications, networking, customer service, IT management and project management. Mike has received awards for his quality leadership skills in attracting and retaining the best professionals in the industry. Mike has lead technical teams in MIS, IT Support, Operations (NOC), Customer Support, Customer Service, Call Center, Software Development, Q&A, Technical Writing, and Software Release.
Mike has developed and mentored quality teams of up to 75 indirect contributors and 5 direct) supporting over 4,500 customers world-wide in a number of industries including Manufacturing, oftware Development, Application Service Provider (ASP), Specialty Services, and Biotechnology.
Among the most notable companies were ADP, Altos Computers (now known as Acer), Cadence Design Systems, and Genentech.
After 15 years in IT management, and over 20 years in Information Technology and Management Information Systems, Mike and his family relocated to Phoenix, Arizona. In 2002 Mike began his own technology consulting company specializing in technology support for residential, home office, small
office and small to medium businesses.
In 2008 ITC went from a sole partnership to a Limited Liability Company.
