Hi I am offering swim lessons throughout the South Bay Area. I have experience teaching swimming to children of all ages. I coached competitive swimming for a year and a half at all levels (from novice four year olds to high school seniors on the national team). From ages eight to eighteen, I swam at Santa Clara Swim Club, one of the most premier teams in the country. I have taught private and group lessons for the past three years. I am currently a college student majoring in nursing. I am offering lessons at your house (or any pool you have access to) that is located in the south bay. My rate is $25 per half hour or $40 dollars per hour, which is for private lessons (but if you have multiple kids you would like to have taught at the same time, I can do that too at the same rate). You will find that this rate is extremely reasonable, as the major swim schools in the area charge over $20 per half hour for lessons that involve upwards of four swimmers and only one instructor. The advantages of having one on one contact are endless. In terms of time spent on each child being taught, having private instruction will teach the child at least twice as fast (if not three of four-fold). Furthermore, having worked for these over-priced programs in the past and held onto the paperwork for their progressive curriculum spanning from novice introduction to the water to proficiency in all four competitive strokes, flip turns, etc, I can assure you that your child will be taught how to swim not only in a superiorly timely manner, but thoroughly as well. I am certified in CPR, First Aid and Safety Training for Swim Coaches (which is the coaches equivalent to lifeguard certification). Being a nursing student, my main focus is water safety. Drowning is the second leading cause of accidental death in children in the U.S. (and needs to be prevented as it is a very preventable issue). However, if you are interested in future competitive swimming for your c

motivational speaking

Category: Motivation / Inspiration
I am an optimist who uses an array of positive reinforcement to maintain a happy, successful environment. Negative reinforcement is incredibly ineffective. If you go to San Quientin or any other prison in the United States, you will find that over two-thirds of these inmates are not in prison for the first time. That is why I prefer positive reinforcement to negative.
