Bio
Tom’s performing career was kick started at the age of 18 when his band 'North and South' hit the top ten in the UK charts. The band starred in two seasons of the BAFTA nominated comedy drama series 'No Sweat' for the BBC, for which Tom also composed the soundtrack. He went on to star on London's West End stage in the role of Marius in Les Miserables and as The Rum Tum Tugger in Cats. Tom first set foot on American soil in 2001 to attend Harvard University and graduated with honors in East Asian Studies in 2005. He traveled through China, learning to speak fluent mandarin, working as a hip-hop dance instructor in Beijing, and as a travel journalist in the remote corners of China’s Northwest. In 2006 he was appointed Harvard's cultural attache to the Shaolin Temple, China. While on the East Coast of America, Tom was invited to sing The Star Spangled Banner for The Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park, becoming the first ever non-American to do so. He was also selected as a spokesperson for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, acting as an On-line Presenter and Global Performing Artist for the government's international tourism marketing campaign. Tom most recently starred in Les Miserables at The Hollywood Bowl, in the role of Enjolras.
