Abingdon, MD, August 25, 2008, Stacy R. Boulan, Owner and Operator of Seams Unlimited, has been recognized by Cambridge Who's Who for showing dedication, leadership and excellence in all aspects of business management.
With more than 20 years of professional experience, Ms. Boulan specializes in designing clothing and accessories. Anything from wedding gowns to shirts and from bedding to curtains, Ms. Boulan creates her own designs or will custom make items suited to her clients' needs. Aside from managing the daily operations of the business, she is responsible for performing alterations and hemming of clothing and curtains, creating designs as well as making apparel and other accessories.
A lifetime seamstress, Ms. Boulan began her professional career on a small scale doing alterations for her family and friends. As the client list grew, she saw the perfect opportunity to establish Seams Unlimited, which serves customers nationally. The most gratifying aspect of her career is her ability to create a balance between her family life and her business. She attributes her success to her husband, children and her grandmother Premillia Pell, a lifelong seamstress, who have been her source of inspiration and determination.
Ms. Boulan completed coursework in business management and accounting at Pennsylvania State University. She received the Presidential Commission Award in 2008 and the National Leadership Award from The National Republican Congressional Committee. She is an honorary chairwoman of the Business Advisory Council and volunteers for several organizations, which includes the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
