Christopher LaBarbera

Greetings, I'm Christopher, and I'm offering my expertise for private tutoring on a one-on-one, hourly basis. I'm able to assist with test prep including preparation for the SAT exam. I'm also happy to read, help draft and edit college essays, assist in homework, or help to develop English class papers. I can run practice exams, and teach your students how to improve their skills for the SAT Math. I will travel to your home and provide individual attention catered to your student's needs with a fun, energetic attitude. I will happily assist with the college application process. Struggling students can be put back on track with their studies with a program of engaging, specialized activities. Students will benefit from a broad array of exercises tailored to pinpoint and remedy trouble-spots, while receiving clear and useful explanations of grammatical concepts. I'm happy to work with traditional school students, home-schooled students or adult learners.

Holding a B.A. from Dartmouth College and a M.A. and Ph.D. from the State University of New York, I realize the importance of a solid educational grounding and I will help you or your child achieve your academic goals. My qualifications include extensive experience in paper writing and editing, and for the past six years I've been an academic lecturer in a variety of college and university settings.
