Owner of Mims Consulting and In A Word..., Pamela Mims celebrates 21 years in business. Pamela assists business owners, law firms and individuals by creating and implementing customized systems and strategies in order to work more efficiently and productively resulting in saving her clients time and money.
Pamela has successfully served the legal arena and business community in Southern and Northern California as a business organizing consultant, professional organizer, legal secretary/assistant, office manager and coordinator of outsourced services.
She has operated In A Word… Executive Secretarial Services, serving Southern California since its inception in 1991. In 1994, organizing attorneys, individuals, home offices and mid to large-sized businesses became an added passion to the business.

Before founding In A Word..., Pamela worked as a legal secretary for over 15 years for law firms such as O'Melveny & Myers, Loeb & Loeb, Hill Farrer & Burrill and successful sole practitioners.
Pamela is the 2005 recipient of the “Most Inspirational” Women In Business Award, presented by State Senator Jack Scott, Assembly Majority Leader Dario Frommer and Assembly Member Carol Liu. Pamela has also been featured in various newspapers articles such as the Los Angeles Times, the Pasadena Star News and the Pasadena Weekly. She was also featured in KTLA's "Making It."
Pamela conducts organizing workshops for regional Chambers of Commerce and Bar Associations and Non-Profit organizations. She is a member of the National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO), Los Angeles Legal Secretary's Association (LALSA), San Gabriel Valley Fiduciary Roundtable and National Association of Professional Organizers (NAPO) and received her certification from Women Business Enterprise Council (WBENC).
