Guitarists Scot Taber and Daniel Dever teamed up in 2004 to form the guitar duo Paper Moon. Combining their mutual interests in American and European Jazz, South American rhythms, Spanish gypsy styles, the Classical guitar canon, and contemporary ambient and electronic music, the duo has received enthusiastic responses from audiences at jazz clubs, festivals, and private engagements all over southern California.

In 2006, Paper Moon released the debut album "Miniatures" featuring a diverse mix of original instrumental guitar music, from the Gypsy swing of "Swing Set" and "Upside" to the classic jazz melody of "While She Sleeps" and latin-inspired rhythms of tunes like "Rayuela" and "The Freneticist." Also included on "Miniatures" is the duo's own take on 19th century composer Francisco Tarrega's "Vals - Tema de Strauss."

A follow-up to "Miniatures" is scheduled for release in early 2008.
