Founding Partner & Principal Architect of 3Dintelligence, LLC, which specializes in architecture, branding, graphic illustration, landscape architecture, and marketing.
Mark was born in Anacortes, Washington, and grew up hiking the trails of the northern Cascades and the beaches of the San Juan Islands. With seafaring blood in his veins, he began commercial salmon fishing in Bristol Bay, Alaska when he was 12. After high school, Mark attended Skagit Valley Community College and Wenatchee Valley Community College, to study x-ray technology and meet his future wife, Heather. They moved to Moscow, Idaho in 1978, and Mark left the fishing industry when he was 30, having received his B. Architecture degree from the University of Idaho, and desired to move his career in a new direction.
Mark has worked for many architectural offices in the Pacific NW and Arizona; the University of Idaho, and has been principal and partner of multiple design firms over his 20-year career. He is a past member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), is nationally certified by the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB), and is currently licensed to practice architecture in the states of Arizona, Idaho and Washington.
Mark’s local community service work has included Board membership of the Children's Museum Alliance, Inc.; Board Secretary of the Prescott Area Arts & Humanities Council and a member-volunteer for the Yavapai Humane Society. Before leaving Idaho, he was on the Board of Directors of the Palouse Clearwater Environmental Institute, Moscow Arts Commission, and Friends of the Prichard Gallery. Mark also served on the City of Moscow Board of Adjustment, City of Moscow Code Review Committee and was active with the Moscow Chamber of Commerce, Latah Economic Development Council, and Kiwanis International.
Mark & Heather have one son, Bryan, who is in the Navy and stationed on the USS Essex.
