Bio

Crystal Brunner was born and raised in Southern California. In high school, she graduated with honors, was active in several sports and was a Teen Advocate for the Southern California Youth and Family Center. She excelled all while holding several part time jobs. Her first job was as a Member Representative for Recycling Black Dollars. This experience opened her eyes to entrepreneurship and what it takes to be driven and successful.
As a graduate of Los Angeles Southwest College she went on to pursue a career in education and found it a true joy working with children. Crystal has also worked in several career fields including customer service, banking and non-profit. While employed at Harbor UCLA’s Black Infant Health Program as a Community Health Outreach Worker, she was allowed the opportunity to work with young mothers and develop her personal philosophy. “It is important to be of service in a way that others will learn and grow from.” And, it is her hope that the students of “Princess Academy” will carry this knowledge back to uplift themselves as well as their family and community. Crystal is married and has a school ages son who is always willing to assist in sessions with the other young children.

Objective Statement

? To expose and encourage youth to obtain and sustain a personal relationship with Christ
? To provide interactive instructional sessions that will enrich spiritual growth through offering scriptures and affirmations as a reference in everyday situations
? To impart knowledge of social etiquette that will improve self confidence and comfort in a wide variety of social interactions
? To equip with skills necessary from college to corporate and business interactions with an underlying spirit of entrepreneurship
? To expose youth to the rewards of service to others
? To educate youth on the keys to financial prosperity such as budgeting, giving, saving and credit
? To develop a spirit of excellence in all areas of life through building self esteem
? To provide a base for physical awareness and well being; nutrition, beauty, personal health
