I will be moving to Ithaca, NY in August of 2009 to begin studies at the Graduate Level with the ultimate goal of obtaining a Master's Degree in Piano Performance. I am looking to build a small studio of piano students (of any age) and hope to attract people interested in music with a specific focus on piano.

I teach weekly lessons for 30, 45, and 60 minute lessons ($20/30 minute; $25/45 minute; $30/60 minute). I generally encourage young beginners to start with 30 minute lessons so that they may develop patience and interest in what they're learning. I am happy to provide an extensive and detailed resume on request. I generally teach from my home or at the facilities located at the College. If there is any reason for special accommodation (a student in a wheelchair, for example) I am quite flexible in working out another arrangement, so please don't hesitate to ask.

I have extensive training in music theory as well as highest marks in Maryland State and Peabody theory examinations. I make it a point to integrate basic music theory and musicianship into lessons so the ultimate result is a well-rounded musician. This makes the music and playing more enjoyable for both listeners and, most important of all, the student.
