I am actively seeking a salaried position with a Real Estate firm as a transaction coordinator. I have excellent communication skills and a background in all aspects of the Real Estate Industry. I am proficient in both Microsoft Word and Excel. In addition I have extensive administrative and organizational skills; a working knowledge of Escrow, Title, FHA & Conventional financing and all of the new Real Estate related regulatory requirements. Currently I am working as a rental agent for Dollar/Thrifty at the Palm Springs Airport. Although I have an excellent relationship with the management and my co-workers, I am definitely over-qualified for this job and the salary is not adequate to meet our needs. I have advised my manager that I am actively seeking another position. In order to survive in these economic hard times I also do contract work as a transaction coordinator for several local realtors, loan modifications and foreclosure rehabs. On the personal side I am in excellent health, a widow, raising my 16 year old daughter who is a senior at La Quinta High School.

I graduated from San Francisco State with a Bachelors’ degree in business. Post College I was a flight attendant for Continental Airlines, based in Denver and Los Angeles, Fashion Coordinator at the Los Angeles Merchandise Mart, Lead Interior Designer for Gladman’s Furniture in Woodland Hills, relocated to the Coachella Valley and went to work for Coast Federal Bank as the manager of their Real Estate Loan Department until they we bought out by Washington Mutual.
