my name is Maria and I have two little miracles. My daughter is 2 years old and my son is 5 years old. I went to NLU, I graduated from The College of Office Technology. I worked for 5 years in a hospital and received child development training from the YWCA in Waukegan and have received a diploma towards the Child Development Associate. I'm licensed by DCFS, with CPR and First Aid certification. I’m a member of the National Association for Family Childcare and the National Association for the Education of Young Children. Little Miracles is small class sized, no more than 6 children. From preschoolers, toddlers and infants, I offer diverse curriculums such as "Your Baby Can Read", "Reach for the Stars" and other so that your child will learn as they are cared for. Each day children have circle time, art projects, songs, stories and many other fun activities. We give thanks to God for the healthy snacks and meals that are provided. My curriculum is designed to promote school readiness skills while developing good manners, strength of character, building language skills, social skills and foster creative play. All children including infants, toddlers and preschoolers will learn numbers, the alphabet, and pre-math skills including recognizing basic shapes & colors, counting, sorting sequencing by using child centered pre school programs.
