There have been many experiences in my young life that have taught me the value of a “good days work”, and that is what I believe has helped me learn such a well rounded amount of different trades and abilities. WORK HISTORY
Work with boilermakers/several different contractors 2007-2008
Boilermaker/Rigger/Mechanic
- Weld carbon steel structures, seal welds, seal galvanized bolts
- Rigging small to large loads
Qubica AMF 2006-2007
Fabricator/production MIG welder/aluminum TIG
- Weld small pre-made parts to make larger assembled product
- Use blueprints to assemble and weld proto-type products
- Weld aluminum oil tanks and covers ranging from 16 gauge to 1/4 inch
- Trouble shoot weld machines and repair
Northrop Grumman Newport News Shipbuilding 2004-2006
Structural Welder
- Use various welding processes including, but not limited to, FCAW, SMAW, GMAW
- Use Ceramic backing tape for 100% penetration in all positions
- Carbon arc gouging(not just for removal of metal) for 100% sound metal
- Inspect welds to NAVY standards (highest I have found so far)
- Proper use of pneumatic tools even in the tightest of areas
- Repair wire feeders and trouble-shoot problems

- Motor replacements, transmission replacements, electrical diagnostics, and general troubleshooting
