Born in Lexington Kentucky, but raised in Alabama all over. My father was a musician so we traveled a lot. By age five I began playing drum set and following the marching drummers around band camp. This steered me into a life of percussion. I started playing professionally at age 15 with various groups most of which run by my father or one of his friends. I then began to form my own groups while playing in every kind of group possible,
marching band, concert band, jazz band, theatre pit, and everything else in between.
