Description
AAP Home Inspections is a customer service based company founded by Andy Price in Houston Texas. We recommend you schedule an inspection immediately after a contract or purchase agreement is signed by all parties or at the beginning of the option period. This will allow you plenty of time to get a report, make repairs, get estimates, and make decisions.
It is also good practice to schedule an annual inspection for your home. Yearly inspections limit surprises throughout the year, assist in good maintenance, and point out small problems that will likely become costly repairs in the future.
New home inspections are also a good way to protect your property. Often you will have a one year warranty from your home builder and it’s a good idea to have a professional point out areas of poor workmanship, inferior products, or bad practice. Although a City inspector signed off through the stages of construction, they often miss costly errors, especially poor workmanship that will become an expensive repair soon after the warranty runs out.
