Michelle Moore Bell

Owner and hair artist at Salon 21, a hair, makeup and healthy lifestyle salon in the Wilshire Vista District of Los Angeles. In this position, my responsibility is to help people take charge of their careers by providing a success formula for the professional salon owner and stylist. For publishing a quarterly newsletter and monthly e-newsletter filled with beauty and healthy lifestyle tips. I teach skin care and make-up application.

A recognized trendsetter, my innovative hairstyles, techniques, tips and health advice have been featured in industry publication.

I am the founder of The Network of Salon Owners and The Education Network. My training programs include hair care, cutting and technical skills as well as sales, marketing, merchandising, networking, image, motivation and goal planning.

I am the founder of The Wellness Group, a 501c(3) non-profit breast health awareness organization.

In 2006 photographer Valerie Goodloe featured me in an exhibit of African American leaders of Los Angeles, California.

The National Association Women Business Owners-LA (NAWBO) and Association of Black Women Entrepreneurs (ABWE) honored me.

December 2008 I was featured in Who’s Who in Black Los Angeles in celebration of African-American achievements.
