He is a guitar, bass, and ukulele teacher. He started playing music professionally as teenager, and worked with Bob Braun and the DJ's of WSAI in the 60's around the greater Cincinnati area. The 70's found Eddie in the Army performing in an acappella choral group while in the 82nd Airborne Division and then the last year and a half in the Third Army Soldiers Show based in Atlanta, Georgia. This USO type entertainment group traveled throughout the southeast performing Broadway Musicals like Hello Dolly and Godspel and variety shows featuring the most popular songs of the day.

Remaining in Atlanta after the Army, Eddie formed a band that opened for numerous nationally known acts such as the Classics Four, Anne Murray, and Johnny Rivers. Eddie has also performed in many opening acts for and as a part of Major Label acts including Percy Sledge, Chris Ladeoux, Little Jimmy Dickens, Hank Thompson, The Casinos, and many more.
