Bio
I grew up in Detroit, Michigan. I was a basketball and weight training junkie and didn't get hooked on golfing until I was 38. I began going to the driving range once a week. As my passion for golf grew, I moved up to 6 days per week. I would spend 4 to 5 hours in each practice session. I then started playing 2 to 3 times per week as my game improved. I became a student of the game of golf through studying the Golf Channel, reading Golf Digest and Golf World magazines and carefully observing better players. I was inspired by Tiger Woods, Charlie Sifford, Jim Dent, Teddy Rowe, Calvin Pete and others as they persevered to play golf at a higher level. With a deep love and passion for success in my new sport, I learned to apply what I worked on at the range and watching PGA tournament play to the golf course.

I worked in the insurance (corporate) environment for over 14 years, but wanted to work in a field that I loved. Self taught like many PGA tour players, I went from shooting in the high 100's to the low to mid 70's within 5 years (4 golfing seasons). I really wanted to be involved in golf so I decided it was now or never. I quit my job in Michigan and moved to Arizona in 2008. I worked even harder on the physical, spiritual and mental aspects of my golf game to get ready for the next level. I successfully completed my Level III certification at Ahwautukee Country Club in Arizona with the largest organization of strictly golf teaching professionals in the world with over 17,000 members, The United States Golf Teachers Federation.

I applied at several golf clubs and course throughout Arizona until Great Eagle Golf Club, in Surprise, AZ, recognized my potential value in the growth of their golf operations. I taught privately around the Valley at Tuscany Falls Country Club, Desert Mirage Golf Club, Golf Club of Estrella and other Arizona locations.

My students range from eight year-old beginners to 75-year-old players, low and high handicappers alike.
