Work Experience:
I have either made my living or spent my time with boats and the water.

Besides having been licensed as a captain, pilot, and Yacht & Ship Broker, Bill also has been a Dive Master, Sailing Instructor, amateur treasure hunter and professional conga/bongo player.

Bill's introduction to boating came very early in life, as Bill's father was a boat builder in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Here Bill also became a water sport enthusiast using his 14' whaler to explore south Florida while diving, skiing, surfing, fishing, you name it!

After attending the University of Alabama for three years and finishing with a fourth at the University of Florida, Bill again headed for the water and boats. Bill has either earned his living or spent his time on the water with boats and boating ever since.

Yacht Sales Experience
Bill's experience in yacht sales goes back before the days of licensing as he learned by working for Palm Beach Blue Water Yachts, Weckleman Yacht Sales, and Nautical Pleasures. Then in 1987 Bill became licensed and bonded when he opened William O. Ware Yacht Sales in Key West, thus becoming the only true licensed and bonded Yacht & Ship Broker within 100 miles.

After five years in Key West Bill's interest again turned to Fort Lauderdale, "the yachting capital of the world". Here he was recruited and worked for 2Hulls for five years and Sailaway Yachts for three years. Bill then took off to go sailing for a few years coming back again and working for 2Hulls before becoming Sales Manager of the Americas for New Zealand Yachts. After 9/11 New Zealand Yachts ceased it's separate marketing department and Bill took off sailing and messing about on boats again.

Boating Experience
Bill's professional experience on boats started out after college when he started to crew on d
