Old world finishes merging with whimsical trompe l'oeil artistry defines the unique feel of a Brooks Tucker Faux Daddy Design. As a singer/song writer himself, Brooks is finely in tune with the artistic world and uses this gift as he customizes his work to express clients' unique sensibilities, dreams and desires.

Brooks is the father of twins which was the inspiration for his company name – Faux Daddy Designs. The children were diagnosed with autism at an early age and the devoted father has served as daily caretaker as he and his wife have pursued early intervention and therapies. Inspired by faux techniques he emulated from HGTV, Brooks began transforming his own home into a creative studio. Requests from friends and family began pouring in for Brooks to help create unique spaces from kitchens, nurseries and bedrooms to wonderful screen porch floors.

The love of hand-rubbed Tuscan plaster led Brooks to the well-respected Martin Allen Hirsch Faux Finish School in Louisville, Kentucky. Since completing the faux finish course on everything from Old World Fresco to embedded lusterstone, Brooks has taken these age-old techniques and developed his own brand of artistry.
