Work Experience:
I engaged in the art of percussion when I was 11. My older brother was a drummer before I began playing and taught me the ways of the art. I began rehearsing with musicians of all kinds of skill levels and styles when I was 12. At 14, I began taking accredited, private, one-on-one lessons from John Lamattina. I also gained two years of percussion experience in middle and high school band and two years of MIDI Technology. Ever since the age of 11, I have been active in the art and discipline of percussion and music and I feel that it is past time for me to teach percussion. I have been fascinated with the idea of teaching drums, something I have known and loved for many years. Any of my friends that have heard me play have said they would enjoy taking lessons from me. I would also be an excellent drum technician, studio drummer, sales rep. (esp. drums), graphic/advertising designer, photographer, promoter, and sound designer.
1 year of mono-e-mono, 2 years of band/marching, tens of thousands of hours experience playing other music, metronome, or by myself. College level music theory.
