Bio

Shermona knew at the age of seven that she wanted to cook, but most of all cook for others that would enjoy it. She learned many of my skills through watching her mother, father & grandmothers.

There is just something about good food, family & friends!

Her mother, Wanda, can tell you her horror stories of coming home after a long, hard days work, to a seven year old that had prepared her a full dinner. She couldn’t fuss after she had taken her first bite!

Now Shermona wants to do the same for you!

After a long, hard days work, you can come home to a delicious meal you can enjoy.

Shermona was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where the foundation of her cooking skills began. Shermona moved to the Philadelphia area in 1997. Three years later Shermona joined Esther Magazine Communications, Inc. where she assists as Conference Coordinator. Her love for seeing events come to life excited her. She knew that helping others with their dream event would be her dream job. Over the years Shermona has successfully helped pull together baby showers, small family reunions, office parties, spring formals, wedding day coordination, fundraisers, prom “send offs", birthday & tea parties for all ages, Summer Camps, “last minute “ parties and many other events where her hospitality skills were needed. Shermona has also completed a Wedding Consultant course.

Shermona is the owner and head chef of Creole Soul, Personal Chef Service. Her services are ready to handle all of your Event and Personal Chef needs.
