My Skills

Computer Technician

Category: Computers / IT
I haven't an A+ certification, however i have taken the required classes and got an A in both. I didn't take the test simply because it was not offered at the time, and it is also very costly to become A+ certified. I do however possess the same knowledge that A+ certified people have, and i am available for work or help from one individuals place to another. Fees can be negotiated, and i'm out of work right now, so I cannot drive for nothing unless i'm at least getting paid for the gas.
Relevant Education / Credentials
A+ certification, computer info systems minor degree, computer science courses, HTML, knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites, various skills that can help the average person on the internet. I am extremely adaptable to new technologies of all types of electronics.
Years Experience: 10

Chess Professional, unrated

Category: Skilled Trade / Crafts
I can teach someone to better prepare themselves to play a better chess game, by analyzing some of the itermediate positions of the game which make their way into the advanced level. There are many things to watch out for in a chess game which can get you into trouble. I can point out the obvious mistakes which may not be apparent at first, but can wreck someones game. I personally make these mistakes just to figure out ways out of them. It is a learning experience even when you lose or draw, but there's a satisfaction that you get when you can beat someone who you believe is above you.
Relevant Education / Credentials
Nassau Community College Chess Champion, 2002. Finished first place. I do not play in the FIDE or USCF, but i can play and win against people who do. I have beatin master level players, however I realize that styles in the game have a tremendous importance. One who can beat some, cannot beat others rated below them simply because the style is either unique or foreign to them.
