Description
• Developed planning and training programs for business and industry which are part of a framework that works with any business unit or training discipline to provide business/operational continuity, contingency planning, emergency management, emergency response, regulatory compliance and risk management. Created business plans for three companies.
• Instructed clients in mission statements, operations, hazard analysis, needs assessment, enhancement of operations, planning, response and recovery from change.
• Assisted clients in planning and reviewing of their own plans and procedures, assessment of response and recovery activities, and regulatory compliance.
• Designed corporate web site, marketing materials, training aids, and planning tools.
• Created a program to help companies and organizations define the Mission Statement, purpose, goals and objects.
• Acted as primary planner to create a simple, realistic and effective, plan prototype for use in the field by planners, responders and area companies. Lead to creation of federal “One-Plan.”
Relevant Education / Credentials
Field of Specialty: Education and organization of employees in Emergency Management, Business Continuity and Operational Continuity programs. Education includes teaching program fundamentals, coaching personnel through processes and assisting them as needed. Subjects covered are: business continuity, hazards analysis and threat assessment, hazardous materials, medical emergencies, safety, and security. The goal is to create through a knowledge transfer the ability to maintain an in-house resource for maintaining a viable operational continuity program that is structural and strategic to mission, operations and values.
