I have 50 years of experience with Cello skills in Seattle, WA.
My education and credentials include Degrees:BA, BAed, MA. I began my studies when I was five at the San Francisco Conservatory of Music. During my formative years I won several prestigious awards through solo competitions. The first was the Pacific Musical Society Award at age eleven. Among other awards that followed were The Alameda Music Teachers Award, The California Cello Club Competition, and The Don Bushell Competition. I continued my studies with a number of great performers and have since played all over the world. I was brought to Seattle as a member of the Seattle Symphony. Currently I teach and perform in the Seattle area..

Work Experience:
I have performed in the United States, Europe, Japan, South America, Middle East and former Soviet Union. I was a member of the Seattle Symphony, Pacific Northwest Ballet and the Seattle Opera. Recently I have been active as a soloist, teacher and recording cellist for the movie industry. I also am the Personnel Manager and Principal Cellist of the Federal Way Symphony. Other positions I have held; cellist on the U.S. tour of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Music of the Night”, Principal and Coprincipal Cello of several orchestras in South America and Coprincipal Cellist for the Los Angeles Philharmonic Institute. An active chamber musician, my ensemble, the Pacific Chamber Group, played for Boris Yeltsin on his visit to Seattle, for the Secretary of State at the Russian-American International Trade Convention and in the “Out to Lunch” concert series presented by the Seattle Downtown Association at One Union Square. The Pacific Chamber Group was the Artists in Residence ensemble for the performing arts center, Ascension Arts. I have appeared as soloist with Symphonies in Washington numerous times. Among those symphonies are the Port Angeles Symphony, the Seattle Philharmonic, the Federal Way Symphony, the Northwest Symphony, and the East Side Symphony. He has also been heard playing solo cello in the Friesen Art Gallery, at the center of Contemporary art (CoCA), at the Museum of Mystery, at the opening for Michael Schultheis at the Winston Wächter Gallery, playing for the Cancer Life Line and at the Patricia Rovzar Gallery in Seattle for a Children's Hospital fund raiser.
