My main focus and life's work is now photography. After attending UMBC and getting a degree in Languages and Linguistics (French), I have spent the last 15 years pursuing a career in Office Management. However, after several life chaning events, I resumed my work in photography. Picking up where I left off in my training under I the guidance and watchful eye of Ruth E. Jackson of RUJA Studios, I started to self teach and improve upon my skills. About five years ago, I got a little more serious about my photography work, deciding to follow in my grandmother and grandfather's footsteps to resume family business. I began shooting live performance and have since developed a portfolio that encompases a wide range of subject matter. I currently reside in Maryland. I am a partner in several joint photography projects, Beautiful Decay and Destination Unknown. Beautiful Decay focuses on local cemetery artistic and documentary photography. Recently, we visited Mt. Auburn Cemetery to document some of the restoration efforts that are taking place at this Historical African American Cemetery. Destination Unknown is a more generalized photography endeavor with some focus on fashion photography. I also model for both projects.
