My knowledge and understanding of the entire construction process has proven a valuable asset. Because of my 10 years experience working with a very large General Contractor (300 million) as well as a small General Contractor (13 million), I have extensive Business Administration experience at many levels: Job Cost Accounting, Change Control, Contract Execution and Negotiations, as well as Executive Assistant & Business Development duties. Business Administration: As a Project Manager, I represented my firm through all phases of the project. Responsibilities included: trouble-shooting, problem solving, executing contracts, managing and tracking all costs associated with projects, organizing resources to obtain optimum efficiency and understanding the importance of quality. Overseeing of all ongoing projects from start to finish including, but not limited to: Job costs, submittals, specifications, permits and inspections, insurance and bonds, purchasing materials and equipment, and closeout materials. I ensured that each project was completed on time and within budget and that the finished project met or exceeded the Project Owner’s expectations.
Executive Assistant/Business Development: As the Executive Assistant to the company President & Owner, I was responsible for the administration of Business Development. Responsibilities included creating project slicks, company brochures, proposals, arranging travel accommodations, managing office personnel, attending various AGC and Primavera trainings and conventions, bid openings and mandatory pre-bid meetings, as well as the procurement of RFP’s, bid bonds, insurance certificates, etc.
