Work Experience:
42 years experience in the media world, beginning in 1963 as a Radio Announcer, D.J., news reporter (with awards) radio ad salesman, a short stint as a newspaper reporter and editor, and most recently, Retired 20-years as a Radio Broadcast Technician with the
Voice Of America, Washington, D.C.

While employed with the Voice of America, I held a basic Government Security Clearance and worked with and without supervision as a Studio Control Board Operator, engineering both live and recorded radio programs, operating highly technical analog and digital equipment and computer components. My last assignment was with a very specialized Digital Support Team in charge of converting the VOA broadcast equipment from analog to a digital operation. This included training in-line users on digital specific software, and performing daily maintenance on automation and network routing components.

I have also constructed a Voice Over Studio in my home where I am producing Voice Overs for radio and television.

As a Professional Photographer, I have photographed President George W. Bush at the VOA, have Photographed VOA employees at work at the White House and have many employee photographs on display at the Voice of America. I have photographed many entertainers including Jazz Stars, Al Jarreau, Nancy Wilson, The Manhattan Transfer, Blues singer Delbert McClinton, The Drifters and Blood Sweat and Tears. My clients include, Pathway Bellows, a division of the Callaghan Mining Company, El Cajon, California, (corporate photography) Advanced Production and Design Concepts (entertainment lighting company) and various CD & DVD photography for a number of regional blues bands.
Education:
Photographic, Spanish and French Language Classes at the United States Department Of Agriculture Graduate School in Washington, D.C.

Seminars conducted by nationally recognized photographers: Charles Lewis, the late Dean Collins, Marty Rickart, Ed Pierce and Monte Zucker.

Graduate of the Mid-South Electronics Institute in Radio Production- Nashville, Tennessee.
Graduate of the Radio Electronics Institute- Fredericksburg, Virginia.
Organizations / Affilations:
Member of The American Society Of Media Photographers since 1994 and currently serving as Publicity Chairman and Board Member of the Tennessee ASMP Chapter.

Member of the National Association Of Photoshop Professionals.
