Bio
For the past 20 years, Stacey Wittig has been traveling to exotic destinations and writing about them. The freelance travel writer and photographer is based out of Flagstaff, AZ.

Her culinary adventures have led her up the Inca Trail in Peru eating fried caterpillars and roasted guinea pig, across the plains of northern Spain on El Camino de Santiago enjoying tapas and steamed barnacles, and through the vineyards of Cinque Terre sipping Chianti Classico.

The award-winning writer and photographer launched her career in travel writing after a successful 30-year stint in media sales. Arizona Daily Sun, Arizona Vines and Wines magazine, Dockside Magazine, Flagstaff Business News, Gallup Journey Magazine, Lake Erie Lifestyles magazine, Passport News International Luxury Travel, USA Today Travel and others have published her travel pieces.

National Geographic Traveler online, Arizona Daily Sun, QWEST Dex Travel Section and others have published Wittig's photos of off-the-beaten-path destinations.

As a savvy social media hack, she "tweets" as Travelwriter, talks travel on Facebook, blogs on TrueVineWineBlog.com, Vagabondinglulu.com and GirlsAdventureGuide.blogspot.com and is a coveted foodie for "TasteCasting" events at local restaurants.
