Matthew Gonzales has been drawing and painting since middle school, and is currently two semesters away from an associates degree in fine arts. He especially enjoys fantasy art, and works in a wide variety of media including, but not limited to traditional art in Prismacolor colored pencils, watercolors, acrylic paint, charcoal, india ink, graphite pencil, sculptures in polymer clay and textiles, and digital art produced with the aid of Photoshop, Corel Painter, and Artrage. He has been published as the cover, and interior illustrator of Bob Liddil's The 30-Sided Fantasy and Other Tales, published by the Bod Liddil Publishing Company. He Idolizes Todd Lockwood, Ralph Horsely, Amy Brown, Nene Thomas, Gerald Brom, Boris Vallejo, and Julie Bell among others, wishes to work some day as a professional illustrator, and also enjoys playing bass and guitar.
