I am a licensed acupuncturist and certified animal acupuncturist. I trained with some world renowned leaders in the field of acupuncture from Tai Sophia Institute.

Previous to becoming an acupuncturist I worked as a clinical social worker helping families and children. This work enabled me to develop wonderful relationships with a variety of people from many different backrounds.

I realized that I wanted to work with people from a medical perspective without having to label them or diagnose them from a western medical perspective. Acupuncture allows me to work with individuals in a way where every client truly is listened too, you can talk about all of your concerns from a physical, emotional and/or spiritual basis and not be judged.

Acupuncturist for people and animals

Acupuncture is an ancient chinese medicine that has been around for over 3,000 years. It works to help your body heal itself by defining what needs some assistance and clearing any blockages through the use of energy/chemical releases. The needles are always disposable and sterile, they are as fine as a piece of hair.
My style of acupuncture (five-element) believes in using the lease amount of needles possible to get the desired benefit.
