Bio
Anna Berry began her acting career in San Francisco, CA performing with the comedic group Comedy Sportz and privately trained with Shelly Mitchell. Mitchell had been a student of the famous Lee Strasberg and Sandy Meisner and introduced Anna to the Meisner, Strasberg and Stanislovsky methods of acting. In San Francisco, Anna landed her first part on the television series Nash Bridges with Don Johnson and Cheech Marin. She has appeared in several commercials and lead roles in a couple of Industrials, and a Supporting role in an independent short film called, “What You Don’t Know.”

Shelly’s coaching inspired her to make the move to New York City and continue her training. In 1998, Anna connected with New York actor, Joe Ragno (Shawshank Redemption & The Olive Garden Guy) and with his guidance, Anna found herself in The Michael Howard Studio, The Actor’s Studio, and trained privately with Marsha Haufrect. In addition to all this, Anna found time to take part in an intensive workshop with the famous Barrow Group.

In 2001, Anna made the move back to the west coast in order to pursue T.V. and Film in Los Angeles. While living in Los Angeles, Anna continued her training with Joe Palese for 3 years at the Actor’s Space and at Santa Monica College for 2 years. If she wasn’t training, Anna was working on a set. Anna was cast as a lead in the Aaron Carter music video “Do You Remember,” was featured in the late John Frankenheimer film “Path to War” on HBO, a supporting role in a movie called “Mitr-My Friend”, and appeared in numerous short films with independent filmmakers from USC, UCLA and AFI.

In 2007 Anna decided to foucs her craft on theater, and went to the hometown of the Tony award winning Shakespeare Festival in Ashland, OR. While in Ashland, Anna acted opposite Shakespearean actor Geoffrey Blaisdell in the world premiere musical “Scroogical” directed by Kirby and Markita Shaw.

Currently, Anna resides in Scottsdale, AZ and shifted her focus
