Academy of Guitar Music Lessons

Category: Music
Description
I teach guitar and other music skills with the philosophy that you must have fun to learn.

A practical hands on approach is important. This means that you pick the song, I arrange it to fit your skill level, I walk you through the song step by step, I arrange background music for the song (adding bass guitar, drums, etc), then you record the song with the accompaniment. Its huge fun to learn this way and you have a CD to show your family and friends at the end.

When you learn music theory, you learn what is practical to use and not a lot of academic theory that you will not likely need.

When learning to improvise, I teach you through actual performance practices so that you can hear your progress immediately.

I will teach to you to really understand your instrument so you can feel confident in finding your way around the instrument. Its easier than you may think!

My goal it to teach you to learn to think on your own about music, so that by the time you leave me, you will be able to answer many of the questions that come to you concerning music.
